We are so excited to share that Runcorn and District Foodbank will be returning to Tesco Helsby next month to collect donations from the public.
The collection comes as part of the national “Neighbourhood Food Collection” partnership between Tesco, The Trussell Trust and Fareshare.
Volunteers will be in store from 9am until 5pm on Thursday 15th, Friday 16th and Saturday 17th July 2021.
There will be measures in place to ensure the safety of our volunteers and shoppers but we look forward to being able to meet more of our community supporters over these days.
Anyone interested in donating will be encouraged to donate food items from our advertised ‘shopping lists’ or through financial donation, if preferred.
Likewise, our volunteers will be there to offer advice on how to get help if needed (by way of sharing our referral agencies) or give help more regularly (by way of regular donations, volunteering, or sharing our online social media pages).
