Donate food

Our foodbank relies on your goodwill and support.

Over 90% of the food distributed by foodbanks in The Trussell Trust network is donated by the public – that’s why your food donations are absolutely vital to our ability to give everyone referred to us a balanced and nutritious three day supply of food.

We distribute in-date non-perishable food and basic toiletry items such as soap, shampoo, toothpaste and feminine hygiene products. Our urgently needed items are displayed on the Home Page under the title ‘NEED’.
Please note that we do not have the resources to deal with perishable food and we are not allowed to distribute food that is out of date.

If you are happy to drop off food donations, please see the table below for our retail food collection points. Alternatively, if you have a large amount of food to deliver, we would appreciate it if you would drop it off at the warehouse on either Tuesday 6.30 – 7.30pm or Wednesday 1 – 2pm. Please contact us for the address of the warehouse.

We always welcome donations and promise to use them to provide help to people in crisis. Occasionally we send food to other nearby foodbanks to support their work particularly if they experience shortages. This ensures your donations go to help people wherever in the UK they are.

Please contact us if you have any questions about donating food.
